Beings of Light

December 12th 2026

10:00 - 17:30

AMORC Members, family and friends welcome

The concept of becoming a 'Being of Light' alludes to a state of consciousness in which one experiences a 'spiritual illumination' - a state that was an intrinsic part of the Ancient Egyptian mystery rites.

A study of the ritual practices involving the mysteries of light and the Mastery of life - particularly those in the epicentres of mystery teachings, such as in the hidden chambers of the Osirian mysteries - unveils allegories of spiritual journeys and provides a deeper appreciation of how Ancient Egyptian initiates may have perceived the sacred relationship between humanity, nature and the divine.

The influence of these rites upon Western esotericism and mysticism is profound, and reaches us today through the Primordial Tradition, that body of experiential knowledge that is handed on through the initiatic traditions.
